We focus our efforts towards policy-change on topical issues such as the transforming legal status of animals and the personification of both fellow animals and nature; animal labour studies; aquatic animals’ suffering and conservation and their invisibilization in animal-related policies; the impact of both legal and illegal wildlife trade and wildlife and environmental crime on animals and biodiversity; the effects of armed conflicts and human-made and natural disasters on animals and their territories; and the relationship between livestock farming, human-animal health and welfare, climate change and biodiversity loss.
